Brew Detours: Local Beer. Local Food. Local Lore.
Get in the mood for Halloween with Worts and All
Sunday, October 27th – your Sisters in Taste first Brew Detour!
Taste Detours and Taste Of Craft will meet you at the historic and iconic Guelph Farmers’ Market located in Downtown Guelph and intro you with a bit of Guelph brewing history.
Worts and All has us visiting Guelph’s oldest microbrewery and the newest on the Guelph craft beer scene plus Guelph’s award-winning distillery. We’ll be sampling beers at Wellington Brewery and Fixed Gear Brewing Co, and enjoying libations at Dixon’s Distilled Spirits, all the while partaking in behind-the-scenes brewery/ distillery tours hosted by passionate and educated staff.
Oh, but that’s not all! We’re going to fill your bellies with a savoury treat from Eric the Baker to start, feed you exquisite sandwiches made with locally sourced ingredients, and then nibble on a mini charcuterie plate. And to finish it all off? We’ll safely tuck you back on the bus with a sweet treat. There will be plenty of time to purchase swag and beer /spirits to take home too.
We require a minimum of 15 people to make this tour go!
Refunds will be given if not achieved.
** We suggest you bring the following:
- Your own refillable water containers
- Reusable bags to pack away all of your brews, spirits and swag
- An appetite
*Please note: We discourage single-use plastic water bottles on our tours. Consider bringing your own refillable bottle but rest assured you’ll be well refreshed on each tour.
